Power Animals: Shadow
Since the dawn of time, humans have looked to nature and the environment for guidance and understanding of the forces of Nature and Spirit.

A haunting and powerful Spirit resides within each of us: The Shadow. It is represented in mythology and shamanic tradition as a fearsome - perhaps frightening - presence. Yet the gifts it brings are among the most powerful.

The Power Animals Workshops focus on the ancient shamanic tradition of communication with Spirit through the medium of spiritual representatives, such as animals and spirit guides. They explore communication with Spirit through dialog, discussion and shamanic journey.

The Shadow Animal Workshop allows participants to identify and experience their Shadow animal through the shamanic journey and TranceDance rituals.

Learn and practice the shamanic journey process.
Learn about the 4 main types of Power Animals.
Encounter your Shadow animal and discover the unique strengths and gifts it offers you.
Dance your Dance animal to bring it to life in your daily experience.
•  Learn ways to bring your Shadow animal to life in your ordinary living experience.
•  Learn to cultivate the deep and rich relationship this leads to.

Depending upon the size of the group and the space available, you may have the opportunity to TranceDance your animal! So wear comfortable clothes and bring a bandanna or blindfold.

Facilitator
Gerry Starnes, M.Ed., originator of the Spirit Paths™ program in 2008, began his practice in the mid-1970s, using both psychological and medical treatment models. Finding the results of these modalities limited, he began a 20-year journey through energy healing and other alternative methods of healing.

In the 1990s he encountered shamanism, and found it to be the most powerful methodology for healing in all the realms. As a contemporary shamanic practitioner, he now offers group and individual sessions, holds regular classes, and presents a variety of workshops in Texas. He is a Founding Member of the Society of Shamanic Practitioners.
